Dot Mounted is a new type of material for mosaic installation. Its usually put small pieces of mosaic together by dot glue to form a beautiful and generous decorative effect. The material & process of mosaic first appeared in Italy, Spain and other countries where mosaic production is advanced. Mainly due to the early paper mounted mosaic chips is easy to be damp and fall off, also the paper is easy to shrink or break. Puzzle Mosaic products are not intuitively displayed, also easy to be wrongly pasted. Dispensing mosaics can sew width errors and improve particle flatness.

The characteristics of glue-point mosaic are as follows：

• Stable & Not easy to move

The mesh fabric used in mesh-mounted mosaic is relatively soft, making it easy to move and deform during construction, and unable to ensure uniform gaps. The mosaic adhesive used in dot-mounted mosaic becomes solid and has good strength after curing, with excellent shaping ability. When laying, it is not easily deformed, and can ensure uniform gaps between small mosaic pieces.

• Strong Adhesion

The adhesive used in dot-mounted mosaic becomes far more adhesive than the white latex used in mesh-mounted mosaic after being baked at high temperature, ensuring that it will not fall off.

• Excellent Water Resistance & Long Storage

The first-generation paper-backed mosaic has extremely poor water resistance and will experience severe detachment after being placed in a high humidity environment for a week. The second-generation mesh-mounted mosaic has improved in this regard, but still cannot be stored in a high humidity environment for a long time. Glue-point mosaic did not fall off even after being placed in a harsh environment of 40℃ and 96% humidity for 480 hours, while mesh-mounted mosaic fell off completely under the same conditions within 24 hours.

Dot Mounted mosaic is especially suitable for wet area construction. Mosaic chips are stable and firm. It can be safely applied to indoor and outdoor swimming pools, landscape pools,kitchens, bathrooms, and other water-soaked environments.

It can also be safely applied to outdoor walls, building bodies, artistic murals, artistic installations, and other environments with alternating cold and hot weather conditions. Its intuitive and simple pasting construction, stronger adhesion, and weather resistance greatly improve the safety of mosaic pasting decoration construction. It is currently the safest material and process for mosaic bonding. Its reliability and safety are fully reflected in this type of paving method, extending product life and allowing it to be installed in harsh cold or hot environments.
